Review: L.A. Brisket
A new barbecue restaurant that specializes in sandwiches. L.A. Brisket opened last month at The Lab on Bristol. Their namesake brisket is outstanding. It’s got a deep red smoke ring and a heavenly bark. The slow-smoked meat is as good as or better than any other brisket in the county.
The Mexican-style corn is very good, and the sweet potato fries — glazed in honey — are better than just about anybody else’s.
This is the second location of L.A. Brisket. The original is in Artesia. Each location smokes its own meats in-house.
