South Coast Metro Alliance Announces Business Preparedness Academy Dates and Topics

SOUTH COAST METRO, Calif., January 5, 2018 – South Coast Metro Alliance, in collaboration with National University and Costa Mesa Fire Department, has announced its 2018 Business Preparedness Academy series. This complimentary hands-on training experience will help businesses located in South Coast Metro or Costa Mesa/South Santa Ana stay in business when disaster strikes – whether it’s a hotel, office, retailer, residential, property owner, financial-investment firm or professional services.

The academy includes one day to learn how to prepare for emergencies, the emotional impacts of disaster on the workforce and disaster rescue skills that expand an understanding of emergency teamwork. Certificates of participation will be provided for those who attend. There is no cost to attend. The training is sponsored by South Coast Metro Alliance, National University and Costa Mesa Fire Department.

Training dates: January 25, February 22, March 22, and April 26 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Training location: National University, 3390 Harbor Boulevard on the corner of Sunflower Avenue and Harbor Boulevard. Complimentary parking.
