South Coast Metro Alliance is a nonprofit corporation of property owners and major businesses having a long term investment through ownership and/or long term leases. As a cohesive group they work collaboratively with a variety of entities including the County of Orange, the Cities of Costa Mesa and Santa Ana, Orange County Transportation Authority, Costa Mesa and Santa Ana Chambers of Commerce.
South Coast Metro Alliance, as an economic development organization, markets and promotes South Coast Metro as Orange County’s cultural and corporate center encouraging businesses to relocate to the Metro. With the offices towers occupied the hotels, restaurants, retailers and apartment homes prosper.
Primary objective: To enhance property values and facilitate the development of business relationships among Metro property owners and tenants through the annual South Coast Metro 360 magazine, enewsletters, public relations, advertising, website, and regular lunch meetings focusing on Human Resources, Business Roundtables, Business Preparedness Academy, Business Police Partnership, Office Property Managers and Apartment Home Managers in addition to other special meetings and events.
Business Roundtables include business leaders from key corporations who are interested in utilizing their Metro business location to foster and strengthen their business development opportunities.
Human Resource Group provides a network of Human Resource Directors/Personnel providing an opportunity to discuss issues, laws and regulations that effect recruitment and retention of employees.
Board of Directors and Advisory Board work together overseeing transportation improvements, freeway & surface street access, local and regional legislative actions and other issues that impact South Coast Metro.
Business & Educational Consortium (BEC) is a collaborative program uniting colleges & universities and South Coast Metro business building on existing educational structure while closing the “skills gap” between education and business needs.
Commercial Leasing Group and Property Management Group include developers, leasing directors, property owners and managers of commercial real estate interested in marketing support to attract new tenants while retaining current tenants and working together to create, enhance, and protect property values via the Business/Police Partnership Program.
Business/Police Partnership Program provides information regarding the prevention of fraud, graffiti, and other illegal activities via quarterly lunch meetings with Costa Mesa and Santa Ana Police Departments.
Business Preparedness Academy in conjunction with Costa Mesa Fire Department.
Apartment Home Communities Group works to attract new residents while working on programs that enhance and protect property values via the Business/Police Partnership and programs targeted to retaining residents.
South Coast Metro Style Enewsletter, emailed the 15th and 30th of the month, highlights South Coast Metro members, amenities and businesses.
South Coast Metro 360 Magazine, Directory/Map and Web site showcases the Metro’s many amenities such as the dining, shopping, hotels, and visual and performing arts.
