On Friday, February 8th, South Coast Metro Alliance hosted the 2019 SCMA Annual Luncheon Meeting at the prestigious Center Club in Costa Mesa. SCMA Co-President George Sakioka and SCMA Executive Director Diane Pritchett shared new and exciting developments coming soon to the South Coast Metro area:

Orange County Museum of Art

Orange County Museum of Art is the newest member of the South Coast Metro arts community. OCMA’s new home opens in 2021.

The Press

A six-foot model of The Press was featured at the 2019 Annual Meeting.
The Press will include a 52,000 SF Market Hall with a roster of 55 makers and restaurants focused on seasonal local products.

The Press has been re-imagined as a creative work campus and food hall. The reinvention of this building celebrates the history and character of the industrial space.

The guest speaker at the Annual Meeting was Senator John Moorlach, who shared updates and expectations for this year with South Coast Metro local businesses and leaders.

Senator John Moorlach has represented California’s 37th Senate District since 2015.
Over 120 attendees were present at the 2019 SCMA Annual Meeting.

Some of the attendees included Costa Mesa Fire Department officials. South Coast Metro Alliance in collaboration with Costa Mesa Fire Department offers local businesses the Business Preparedness Academy, a complimentary and hands-on disaster training experience.
