The Power of a Name... Hart Kienle Pentecost

"We are pleased to announce that Hart King has changed its name to Hart Kienle Pentecost, effective January 1, 2022. The name is changing to reflect new firm leadership and to confirm the enduring advocacy and exceptional legal services our clients have come to expect since the firm was founded in 1982. This name change completes the transition and transfer of firm ownership from our colleague and founder, Bill Hart, to long-time firm partners, Andrew Kienle and John Pentecost."

Pacific Symphony Postpones Classical Series Performances to Mitigate Risk to Audiences, Musicians, and Employees

Pacific Symphony announced today that it has postponed concerts scheduled to take place this week until June. Anyone holding a ticket for “Mozart and Mahler,” originally scheduled Thursday, Jan. 6 through Saturday, Jan. 8 or “Mahler’s Symphony No. 4” on Sunday, Jan. 9, will be able to attend concerts featuring the same repertoire June 23-26.

With many audience members and musicians traveling during the holidays or gathering together with larger groups, officials felt that postponing this particular set of concerts was the best way to ensure the safety of audiences, musicians, volunteers and staff. Late January concerts remain scheduled as planned with robust safety protocols in place.

Pacific Symphony President and CEO John Forsyte said “In consultation with guest artists, musicians and health experts, and given the proximity of these concerts to the holiday travel season, we decided to postpone the program. It was good fortune that Christina Naughton and Michelle Naughton, the brilliant piano duo scheduled to perform Mozart’s Duo Piano Concerto, will join Carl St.Clair to perform the program as planned this June.”

What I Learned In Paris Coming to SCR in February

It’s 1973, Maynard Jackson has just been elected Atlanta’s first African American mayor and the city is poised to become the “new Black capital of America.” Change is in the air—and so is love! As Jackson’s campaign operatives make history, passions ignite and lives get turned upside down—especially when an unexpected visitor breezes back into town. Called “funny and cunning…with whip-smart dialogue” (Chicago Tribune), this fast-paced romantic comedy by the author of Blues for an Alabama Sky and the New York Times bestseller What Looks Like Crazy on an Ordinary Day, speaks to the intersection of race, class and gender at a pivotal time.
